Hanging Ceiling Absorbers
Hanging Absorbers are manufactured from either an open cell foam, or from medium-density glass fibre which is completely enclosed in glass cloth.
Designed to reduce high levels of reverberant noise in large, open, architectural and industrial spaces, they are normally hung in vertical rows from the underside of a roof. The increased surface area they create acts as an extremely effective sound absorber and can reduce reverberation times by as much as 50%.
The Foam Absorbers are available in a wide variety of three-dimensional configurations (subject to minimum order quantities). Glass Fibre Absorbers can be encapsulated in materials that are designed for use in hygiene-critical applications.
